 Alafia Care was established in 2023 with a simple but important purpose: to provide high-quality, compassionate care that enables people to live with dignity, independence and choice in the comfort of their own homes.

We are a CQC-registered care provider committed to delivering safe, person-centred and respectful care to adults who require support with their daily lives.

At Alafia Care, we believe that care is about much more than completing tasks. It is about getting to know the person behind the care plan, understanding what matters to them, respecting their choices and supporting them to live the life they want.

Every person is unique, with their own experiences, preferences, abilities, routines and aspirations. Our care is therefore personalised around the individual, ensuring that their needs are met while promoting dignity, independence, wellbeing and choice.

Alafia Care was created from a passion for providing high-quality care and supporting people to live well in their own homes.

Our founder and Registered Manager has a strong healthcare background, specialising in frailty in the community and supporting adults with a range of complex needs, including dementia, physical disabilities and mobility difficulties.

This experience has shaped the values behind Alafia Care and our commitment to providing care that is compassionate, respectful, safe and centred around each individual.

Our purpose is simple: to make a positive difference to the people we support and to provide care that promotes dignity, independence and quality of life.
